Who We Are

Application Process Step 3:

After confirming enrollment, the next step is notifying your resident district of your intent to enroll in a virtual school. This step is required for ALL students to enroll in a virtual school, even if your child has never attended school in the district where you live, if you are registered to homeschool, or if your child currently attends school in your neighborhood. Oregon districts that have more than 3% of their resident students enrolled in a virtual school can deny your students enrollment in Paisley DLP, and they have 10 days to reply. Once your district releases you, log back into your PARENT PORTAL to begin your Enrollment Checklist.

Application Process Step 1:

Paisley DLP is accepting applications for enrollment for the current school year for students in Kindergarten through grade 8. Our annual lottery is held in the Spring for the following school year. All applications are included in the lottery and are then placed on a waiting list for the following school year. Applications only need to be submitted once, and applications only go through the lottery once. Siblings of current Paisley DLP students have priority enrollment. Click the APPLY button above to access our PARENT PORTAL to submit your application.

Application Process Step 2:

As enrollment spots become available, parents receive an email offering the place to enroll with Paisley DLP. Please respond promptly to accept enrollment, as many are awaiting enrollment. Your PARENT PORTAL account holds your application and your waitlist number for pending enrollment.

Paisley DLP is a virtual public charter school offering comprehensive K-8 education through a selection of curricula, including online and paper/pencil programs.  Our goal is to provide a personalized option for Oregon families. DLP students are educated at home through distance learning: they engage with the curriculum and standards and communicate regularly with a highly qualified teacher. Parents supervise learning as a coach, tailored to the student's needs and development. Teachers meet with students online, but may also see them in person at scheduled events, workshops, and field trips. The nature of our program provides individualized curriculum and extracurricular options for every student.
