Special Education
Special Education
Special education services are provided to students who qualify under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Students identified as eligible for special education services must meet the following two requirements:
- Federal and state eligibility requires having a disability in at least one of the 11 eligibility categories
- Need specially designed instruction
Paisley DLP provides all components of special education, including identification, evaluation, eligibility, IEP development, and placement decisions.
RTI
RTI (Response to Intervention) provides individual and small-group virtual supports for students who struggle academically in reading and math. Research has shown that RTI helps students make progress toward grade-level benchmarks. Interventions are targeted to individual student needs and are monitored for progress and effectiveness.
